With over 20 years of experience in operations, real estate, and leadership, Thomas Phillips brings a sharp business acumen and a deep commitment to quality service into the world of pet care. As the founder of Strut and Sniff Pet Services, he’s combined his background in building high-performing teams and quality control systems with his lifelong passion for animals—creating a pet care experience centered on trust, connection, and love.

Thomas’s journey with animals began long before his business career. Raised on one of South Texas' largest working cattle ranches, he developed a strong sense of responsibility and compassion through daily life with livestock. He competed in youth livestock shows and earned titles such as Reserve Overall Grand Champion at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo, learning discipline and care that now guide every aspect of Strut and Sniff.

At home, Thomas shares his life with two beloved pets: Tuckr, a playful Toy Australian Shepherd, and Violet, a sweet and sassy dilute tortie cat. They’re not just companions—they’re part of the inspiration behind Strut and Sniff’s mission to provide attentive, loving care for all kinds of pets, whether it’s a walk around the block or a full day of sitting.

A dedicated community leader, Thomas is also spearheading the launch of the Little Pink Dress Run, a 5K benefiting breast cancer research and homeless youth, and he’s a lifetime volunteer with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.

With Strut and Sniff, Thomas has created more than just a service—it’s a heartfelt promise that your pets will be treated like family, with every walk, visit, or cuddle tailored to their unique personalities.

Jackie brings compassion, experience, and a lifelong love of animals to Strut & Sniff Pet Services. Before transitioning into pet care, Jackie spent years in retail banking, building a strong foundation of reliability, professionalism, and client trust. When the COVID pandemic reshaped the banking industry, it also opened the door for Jackie to pursue her true passion — working with animals.

Jackie’s journey began by caring for the pets of Thomas and his partner Matt, an experience that quickly grew into a full-time career. Since then, she has developed extensive hands-on expertise walking and pet sitting for her own clients as well as supporting other pet care providers. Jackie is highly skilled in administering medications and injections, giving pet parents confidence that their animals are in capable and caring hands.

Her experience extends beyond dogs and cats — Jackie is comfortable working with exotic and specialty pets, reflecting her lifelong history as a devoted animal owner. From small companions to large breeds like Mastiffs, Jackie has spent her life around animals of all sizes, temperaments, and needs.

With her dedication, knowledge, and genuine love for pets, Jackie is a valued and trusted member of the Strut & Sniff family.
